About the Job

Job Title – Cyber Security Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a Security Analyst to join our dynamic team at ENFOCOM Cyber. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive threat, risk, and vulnerability assessments to support our customers’ cybersecurity objectives. You will facilitate cybersecurity assessment activities in alignment with compliance and regulatory requirements, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure robust security strategies.

What You Get to Do:

  • Monitor network and system logs to detect potential security threats.
  • Utilize ticketing systems to document and track security incidents.
  • Collaborate with team members to test and mitigate threats.
  • Design and implement new IT architecture to enhance Cyber Range monitoring.
  • Create logging processes/pipelines to address compromise indicators.
  • Ensure compliance by auditing and managing system and access control configurations.
  • Lead the development of incident response procedures and security policies.
  • Review systems for compliance with device policy and manage updates and configuration of systems as needed.
  • Assess third-party tools for compliance and effectiveness.
  • Prepare logging data for integration with ML pipelines using Python or query languages.
  • Conduct monthly threat intelligence gathering and research emerging risks.
  • Perform threat intelligence gathering, CVE review, and regular security research to identify new risk profiles.
  • Assist in planning and executing simulated attacks or tabletop exercises to test Cyber Range defences.
  • Develop systems and materials for training courses and exercises within the Cyber Range.
  • Stay updated on emerging threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization remains proactive in its cybersecurity posture.

Who You Are

  • Strong analytical skills to assess threats and recommend cybersecurity solutions.
  • Expertise in holistic security assessments, including threat modeling and risk evaluation.
  • Proficiency in automation, orchestration, and scripting tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Solid technical background with 3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity analysis.
  • Familiarity with frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS CSC, and more.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
  • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP) preferred.
  • Experience with SOC technologies (SIEM, IDS/IPS, and machine learning systems) is an asset.

Additional Requirements

  • Eligible for Canadian Security Clearance and Controlled Goods Program assessment.
  • Canadian citizen or permanent resident authorized to work in Canada.

    Job Title – Data Scientist

    Job Summary

    We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team at ENFOCOM Cyber. In this role you will be responsible for designing and implementing data systems, processes, and tagging methodologies to prepare datasets for machine learning (ML) applications. You will collaborate closely with our Cyber Range team to ensure that incoming event and network data is accurately labeled, efficiently stored, and readily accessible for ML algorithms. This is an intermediate to senior-level role that calls for hands-on expertise in developing and optimizing data workflows and understanding the infrastructure supporting data storage and retrieval for machine learning applications.

    What You Get to Do:

    • Architect and build scalable data warehouses tailored to support large volumes of time-series data.
    • Provide input and design for trade-off analysis and scaling for cloud-based vs. hardware storage solutions.
    • Develop schemas and structure for efficient querying and storage of data.
    • Provide feedback on data ingestion pipelines, recommendations for data consistency, and metadata requirements.
    • Develop, implement, and refine data tagging methodologies and labeling strategies tailored to ML model requirements.
    • Prepare data for ingestion by machine learning models, including cleaning, transforming, and structuring data for optimal results.
    • Define and execute processes for data intake, verification, and tagging with a focus on automation and efficiency.
    • Create and maintain documentation for processes and workflows, ensuring knowledge transfer and process reproducibility.
    • Implement logging and audit trails for all data interactions, ensuring transparency and security in data handling.
    • Use data manipulation and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Tableau) to analyze and present data insights.

    Who You Are

    • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on data preparation for machine learning applications.
    • Strong knowledge of data tagging methodologies, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other programming languages for data manipulation.
    • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau) and familiarity with cloud platforms.
    • Network+, CISCO, and other network related certifications are a plus.
    • Familiarity with cybersecurity, network analysis, or related fields are a plus.

      We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance and Testing Analyst with a strong background in software and cybersecurity to join our dynamic team at ENFOCOM Cyber. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all project deliverables consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. You will lead the planning, execution, and management of quality assurance processes, driving the successful testing and delivery of applications across all phases of the testing lifecycle. Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of quality, reliability, and security in our solutions, ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional value to our customers.

      What You Get to Do:

      • Coordinate and set up test environments and build test data for software applications.
      • Evaluate business software and system requirements to ensure they can be translated into functional and non-functional tests.
      • Translate business requirements into detailed test cases and record them using standard test management tools.
      • Implement test steps efficiently, record results, and document defects.
      • Collaborate with delivery, development, test, and business teams to understand future business state and planned changes.
      • Participate in requirements review sessions for completeness and traceability.
      • Architect, design, and implement test cases throughout the software lifecycle.
      • Scope out and script end-to-end UI automated tests.
      • Utilize various automated testing tools to script data creation or automated functional tests (UI and API).
      • Work closely with developers to reproduce and isolate problems.
      • Execute test cases and report on functional and regression tests.
      • Defect management including the identification, prioritizing, logging, tracking and triaging of issues.
      • Deploy application builds into test environments.
      • Evaluate, document and communicate testing results to stakeholders to enable them to make decisions regarding project health with respect to QA.
      • Stay updated on emerging threats, industry trends, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the organization remains proactive in its cybersecurity posture.
      • Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of cybersecurity awareness and best practices across the organization.

      Who You Are

      • 5+ years of manual testing experience in custom-based application.
      • Certified Software Quality Engineer or equivalent experience.
      • Familiarity with Cyber Range, networking, databases, VMWare, and web technologies (e.g., HTML, JavaScript, ASP, .NET, SQL Queries) during test execution.
      • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for waterfall, iterative, and agile project methodologies.
      • Understanding and practical application of software QA practices as they apply to different development methodologies.
      • Cybersecurity experience would be an asset.
      • Automated or performance testing experience is an asset.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills using all mediums.
      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
      • Industry certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP) is an asset.
